Croquet, Anyone in Meadville, PA?
The Carriage House Inn Bed & Breakfast is proud to partner with the Crawford County Historical Society for the 8th Annual Eleanor Davies Croquet Classic and Garden Party, Sunday, July 27, 2025.
This annual event, located at 639 and 681 Terrace Street, Meadville, PA, and presented by Allegheny College, is to help raise much-needed funds for continuing restorations on Holland Hall and Mount Hope: the Baldwin-Reynolds House Museum.
Gather a team of 3, or attend as a spectator, dress in your best Gatsby attire and enjoy three games of croquet along with a period themed lunch, full dinner, “Tea” (beer) sponsored by Voodoo Brewery, and period libations throughout the day.
There will be prizes, music, basket raffles, and a boat race across Little Conneaut Lake (the pond in front of the Baldwin-Reynolds House Museum).
The Carriage House Inn was once part of Holland Hall, the property where the Croquet Classic is held, and part of the grounds of the Bed & Breakfast will be used for the croquet tournament.
